Sixth Sense Technology – Brief description

Sixth Sense!!! What does it mean?? Well few of you know what it is and few doesn’t know. Even I wasn’t aware of it before 2yrs. When I was doing my UG me and my friend  R Deepika got an opportunity to present a paper on it, but that time we both were not aware what it is. Later we started to search on it and got many information about it. It really creates a interest on us when we read. So here I would like to give a brief information regarding Sixth Sense Technology.

About Sixth Sense Technology

  • Sixth sense is a wearable gestured interface that augment the physical world around us with digital information. It uses natural hand gestures to interact with that information
  • It was developed by  PRANAV MISTRY, a Ph.D. Student in the fluid interfaces group at the MIT media lab.
  • Sixth sense comprises a pocket projector ,a mirror & a camera. The hardware components are coupled in a pendent like mobile wearable devices.

Simple Mixed vegetable Cutlet (Homemade)

Simple Mixed vegetable Cutlet (Homemade)


  • Big Onion – 2
  • Potato – (4 – 5)
  • Carrot- 2
  • Beans – 3
  • Peas – 50 grams
  • Cabbage – 50 grams
  • Beetroot – 1
  • Salt
  • Sugar
  • Chilly powder
  • Turmeric powder
  • Garam masala powder
  • Oil
  • Maida
  • Bread crumbs(readymade available in shops or can grind the normal bread in mixi)


  1. First finely chop all vegetables except peas and potato (carrot,beans,cabbage,beetroot)
  2. Take a pressure cooker pour water and put the potato’s and upon that keep a plate or bowl and put the chopped vegetables, close the cooker and leave it for 5 whistle, turn off the cooker.
  3. Peal off the potato’s skin and smash it
  4. Drain off the water in the vegetables
  5. Chop the onions into fine pieces
  6. Take a pan, pour oil and heat it, add the chopped onion and stir it until it turns brown
  7. Add the chilly power
  8. Add all the vegetables, salt,and little sugar
  9. Stir it for 2min
  10. Then add the smashed potato, stir it well
  11. Keep this masala aside(make sure that the masala is in strong consistency)
  12. Now take 3 tablespoon of maida/wheat flour, add water to it, consistency should be like a dosa batter,add pinch of salt to it
  13. In a plat put the bread crumbs
  14. Make the masala into small balls
  15. Take one masala ball and dip it in the maida batter,and in bread crumbs
  16. Now take any tava or dosa pan put some oil in it
  17. Make the balls in the shape you like, and fry it in the pan
  18. Fry it until both sides turn brown
  19. Serve hot with tomato sauce



  • Another method – In 2nd step you can boil only potato, and rest of the vegetables you can chop it finely,when you fry in the pan it will get cooked
  • Beetroot is optional as it is healthy i added.
  • Make sure that you make masala in strong consistency, else it will chuck more oil
  • To consume less oil stir fry the cutlet in tava, avoid deep fry

Wheat Flour Laddu( Godhumai maavu laddu )

Hi everyone. i’m not expert in cooking but like to share what i know. so i like to start my first post on recipes with a simple and quick sweet dish.

Wheat flour Laddu ( Godhumai maavu laddu )

Its a simple, quick, tasty and healthy sweet. just try it

Ingredients :

Wheat flour – 2 cups, 250 grams

wheat flour

Sugar   – 10 t-spoons


Ghee  – 2 table spoon


Salt –   A pinch

Method  :

  1. Take a small pan and heat the ghee , and keep it aside
  2. Take a big bowl , put the wheat flour and add a pinch of salt, 10 t-spoons of sugar, mix it.
  3. At last add the ghee and mix it well.
  4. Now with take three- four spoons in your hand and press it, make it like a ball/laddu.

  • If you want, you can add the Nuts(finely chopped), in 2nd step
  • Make sure the ghee is heated before you use for this dish
